well, i realized that m turned 2 1/2 this week! while we were sitting at the table last night i took a video of her as a speech sample. she's now had her cochlear implants for a year and 7 months. she gets very silly & loud (shocking)...
here she is singing and jabbering away:
she is doing AMAZIng. You will look back on this one day and be AMAZED!. Plus how stink'n cute is she?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and amazing. How I love your sweet, silly girl.
ReplyDeleteOh my word, she is adorable. LOVE.
ReplyDeletebest part of the video..'what's that noise?'she hears grocery carts outside. and i should say, i'm not surprised that you have grocery carts outside...and car washes, and car mechanics, and day care, and street jams...we heart oakland.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite parts: 1) her serious expression as she listens attentively to you explain the grocery cart, 2) hydration breaks, 3) how m cracks herself up as she sings
ReplyDeleteLOVE it!
She is so so so cute! Her speech sounds better than most hearing 2.5 year olds that I know. It really is impressive.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part is her answering a WHO question. (Who is sleeping upstairs?) Wow. That is amazing considering her hearing age.
Way to go.
Ohmygosh she is the most adorable kid EVER! Seriously, she is just doing wonderfully (love those /s/ sounds)! Maybe she could come over and teach Nolan how to be quiet, lol. We only get LOUD in our house (though I don't think the LOUD is related to hearing- more to being 3)!
ReplyDeleteShe is just AMAZING and OH SO ADORABLE! I love seeing how she stops and you can just tell her mind is working away and her sweet little voice and her complete sentences. WOW. My favorite too is how she gets quiet when she remembers the baby is sleeping upstairs. So darn sweet.
ReplyDeleteSo flippin adorable!
ReplyDeleteI love her sweet little voice!!
ReplyDeleteShe is absolutely adorable. Her little voice makes me happy. I wish I could hug your little munchkins.
ReplyDeleteWow, she is precious! Thanks for sharing.
