father's day

(happy father's day!)

father's day is kind of bittersweet -

sometimes i miss having a dad, 

and in the midst of celebrating matt & the kind of dad he is, 

tomorrow reminds me that my own dad is no longer around.

but 

i love rocking this journey called parenthood with matt. 

he is patient, kind, silly, loving, and present for our girls.

he's a good, good dad.

this quote is also the title of a mark bradford painting,

and i think it fits 

matt as a dad.

so grateful for him.
