Welcome to Oregon! This is our home sweet home, and your observations about our state are all right on target:) I love reading your blog and am quite certain that if you lived in Oregon (or if we lived in California) our families would have a lot of fun together! This weather is about as good as it gets in the Pacific Northwest, enjoy! Rachel
thanks rachel! this weather is insane! so warm! i love family adventures, so next time you are in the bay area, let me know. :) btw any tips for us- places to go, etc- in your lovely state?
This is probably way too late of a response but.... How far north will you be traveling? Eugene is a great place to be in the summer, it has a lot of delicious restaurants and is super mellow (especially during the summer when the college students clear out:). Portland is totally wonderful with so much to do and see..... I love the Oregon coast, it can be chilly and windy but there are some beautiful beaches. If you are near Hood River it is a super cute place to stop, touristy but in a quaint kind of way. Oregon is all about breweries and coffee houses so definitely find some of those to check out:)
I never comment, but had to because your smiles and your face looks like a fresh Art student 10 years ago. I know you love R and M with all of your being, but being with your young soccer stud for a good week by yourself definitely takes years off your tired life. Here's to awesome soulmates that rock!
