Hi, I didn't see an email address to reach you on your blog but a friend just sent me a link to your site. I think we might have a few things in common... deaf daughter and east bay living as a start. I am a mom of 2 kids and my 2nd was born profoundly deaf and was implanted at 10 mths old. She is now 5 1/2 years old, in Kindergarten in a mainstream class. I remember those early days of deafness and wondering what the world would look like a year down the road, 2 years, 3 years and beyond. Time plays funny tricks on you...especially as a mama. I just wanted to reach out and say hi without sounding too crazy, and say I hope our paths will cross someday. Nicole
