i am not so much a bob marley fan. for some reason his name conjurs up images of patchouli, old conversion vans and those ugly, floppy rastafarian hats squashed on top of a mountain of dreadlocks. but, that said, this is an amazing rendition of marley's redemption song, covered by matisyahu, excerpted from the rockumentary call + response which is about the contemporary slave trade. (and i promise- this version is completely patchouli free!)
